Gordon Lake was designed in 2012 and was officially available for play in April of 2013. At the time the course was established there were 12 holes. A 13th hole was purchased in 2013 with the funds raised by the 2013 Vibram Birdie Bash. The basket for Hole 14 has been purchased, thanks to donations from the Wichita Falls Disc Golf Club and Founders Disc Golf Club. Hole 15 has been purchased with funds raised from various 2013/2014 events. Hole 16  was purchased with funds raised by selling the 2014 Bag Tags. Plans to complete the rest of the 18 holes are being considered and fund raising efforts continue.
